Welcome to the Cybersecurity Club! We are a group of passionate individuals dedicated to learning and sharing knowledge about cybersecurity. Our club offers various activities, workshops, and events to help members enhance their skills and stay updated with the latest trends in cybersecurity. The club was founded in spring of 2024 by two U of A students, Jacob Mettler and Cesar Pacheco, to fill the need of a cybersecurity community on campus and to help students learn about cybersecurity and possibly pursue it in their future career.
About the Club Officers:
Jacob Mettler is a class of 2027 student at the University of Arizona from Atlanta, Georgia. Jacob graduated from Paul Duke STEM High School in 2023 and is now studying for a bachelor of science in computer science. During his time at U of A, he plans to pursue internships and expertise in cybersecurity and eventually get a job in the career field after graduation. He is one of the two founders of the Cybersecurity Club, the President and head of Technology Operations, and the website developer of the club.

Cesar Pacheco Is class of 2026 studying for a Bachelor of Applied Science in Cyber Operations, with a focus on Defense and Forensics. His passion for cybersecurity is demonstrated through practical experiences with ethical hacking, utilizing virtual machines to hone his skills and experience with arduino and raspberry pi pico. His duty as President and Chief Technology Strategist suggests that implementation of new technologies and programs will be provided and practiced by the Arizona Cyber Security Club.

Beste Zeytun, Native to Los Alamos, New Mexico, Sare Beste Zeytun is a class of 2027 student at the University of Arizona. Beste graduated from Los Alamos High School in 2023 and currently, is working toward a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Data Science/Statistics. In her free time, Beste enjoys playing the violin and working out at the NorthRec. She is the social media manager for the CyberSecurity Club at the University of Arizona.

Jackson Lewis is a class of 2026 student from Cheyenne, Wyoming. He is pursuing a dual degree in computer science (BS) and finance (BSBA). As Treasurer of the Cybersecurity Club, Jackson adeptly manages the club's finances, ensuring resources are wisely allocated for various events and projects. He plans to pursue a career working as a Cyber Security Risk Analyst in the banking industry.
